If you’re new here, I’ve been in an infertility journey for 10+ years. We have one last embryo on ice and I’m finally headed for it! Didn’t plan to be 39 and having a baby but here we are…. Possibly. Holding my hands open for however God chooses to write this story🤎

What’s Give Grace? I’m glad you asked! 👇

10 years ago, I went public with my infertility story for the first time. I wasn’t on the other side of it. I was right smack dab in the middle of my story and I had no idea how it would end. I had experienced a failed round of IVF and was left with a shattered heart and no plan on how we’d move forward. I knew I wanted babies, but I wasn’t sure God’s answer would be yes for us. In summer of 2015, I shared what we were walking through with shaky hands, a fearful heart and a determination to not suffer in vain. And my team launched the Give Grace campaign as a fundraiser for another IVF attempt. What started as an anthem in my journey became a movement. A movement that reminded us to receive God’s unending love and grace and to be more transparent with others about what we are walking through.As I think back to that girl, I hardly recognize her. God has taught me so much since that moment about trust and surrender. He’s taught me so much about extending grace to others and receiving grace from Him. I’ve learned that grief and joy can coexist. I’ve learned that I can be happy for her and sad for me. I’ve learn to make space for my pain and grief. I’ve learned to let people in and to let people help.

The message of Give Grace is based on James 4:6: ““But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” My prayer for you is that you would know that you are loved and seen and created on purpose for a purpose by the Almighty God. I pray that no matter what your past has held, you come to know and receive His grace.
